Founders’ Story
Golf has brought us closer to our community, corporate world, and ourselves. Our golf journey began at the Cupertino driving range in 2018 where we first picked up the golf clubs borrowed from a friend and swung with more enthusiasm than skill. Little did we know that modest start would spark one of the most incredible adventures of our lives.
Golf is many things: an escape from the bustle of the corporate world, a constant pursuit of mastery, the spirit of integrity and respect for the opponents, the course, and the game itself. But above all, golf is our way of connecting with the people around us. Whether it’s with friends, colleagues, or family, there’s always a tee time booked and stories waiting to be shared on and off the links.
Both of us compete in multiple local golf leagues and have experienced the adrenaline rush and heart-pounding excitement of sinking a final three-foot putt to win a tournament. Yet, we had never thought of golf as a team sport—until we watched the USA compete against Europe in the 2023 Ryder Cup. We were captivated by the camaraderie and team spirit that this tournament fosters. Ryder Cup players not just play for individual glory; they play for the pride of their team and nation. The event unites players and countries in a way no other golf championship does.
Inspired by this spirit, we wanted to bring that same energy into our professional lives. We envisioned the Falcon Cup as a way to unite the corporate world in a friendly yet fierce competition where companies could come together, share the joy of the game, and build bonds that last far beyond the 18th hole. And thus, the Falcon Cup was born—a celebration of teamwork, passion, and the game we love.
